Tabitha Pow (formerly Tabitha Petit) studied as a technical artist and sculptor under the tutelage of Alan Sly. Graduating in 2012; she then worked as a sculptor for Madame Tussaud’s for the next 5 years. During this time Tabitha found that as her technical sculpting skills were daily honed, so did her desire for mess and colour grow, and thus Chaos and Control was born.
Now working as a freelance sculptor Tabitha enjoys a bizarre mix in her life of striving for technical perfection by day and embracing chaos and colour by night.
In March of 2017 Tabitha had her debut solo exhibition at Maker Wharf in Bethnal Green (London) entitled ‘Chaos and Control’. This exhibition was an undeniable success, and since then she has not ceased to create and push the theme further. She is now working on a new project using the foundations of chaos and control to depict the lives of individual people - watch this space for an exhibition coming soon!
Tabitha enjoys using her gifts for others and is often commissioned to create paintings tailored to specific people. To know more about personal commissions or any of her work, she can be contacted here.
